Yay, Christmas!

Here are some great Christmas pictures. Quinn, being five, is BIG into it, Isaiah was still unaware of anything significant, and it was, of course, London's first.I hope everyone reading this had a fine, happy holiday.

The boys with the dinosaur mountain gift from Daniel. They LOVE this one.

The boys with their Moreno "blackout" jerseys from Daniel. Isaiah is upset; I think he's more a Thomas Brown fan

Yep. Just another day at the Moores'

Take your birth control, people. Call your Mama and tell her "Thanks" and tell her you love her.

Fall = Good times

I went a little bit old school here with the boys and they had a blast.

Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving over at our place this year. Besides the five of us, we had Beegee's brother Dallas and his wife Maggie, my brother Daniel, my Dad and his wife Martha, and her brother Jack.

Eveyone brought something to eat, and I had Geautreau's deep fry a cajun turkey for us, so it was completely stress-free and lots of fun.

P.S. - No Isaiah in these pics, we timed dinner so as to take place during a nap. Clever.

Oh, yeah, the baby

Sorry we haven't featured London too much. With the crazy boys she sometimes gets lost in the shuffle, and there's only so many baby pictures you can show ("Here's the baby...laying there, here she is....eating")

However, London just turned three months old Monday (!) and is starting to get cuter. So, here are a few of her:

Halloween

Took Quinn out for Halloween - Isaiah didn't make the cut at the last minute - we think next year he'll be ready.

Quinn started off as the Grim Reaper (with a strange iron mask)

Then ditched the mask and let a cute gypsy (Gracie) make up his face

Which made him a little creepier Grim Reaper, actually

Later he found his other Grim Reaper buddies. (What do you call a group of Reapers?)

Izzy the swinger

SEE the cute two-year-old swing in the yard

HEAR him tell the dog "Hey" and "Bye"

FEEL queasy as you watch the video..

Oh, snap!

...As in, one's radius.

I guess it was inevitable that one of these youngin's was going to break a bone, but Q beat everyone to the punch last evening, allowing us to contribute more to the Moore Family Wing st St. Mary's Hospital.

We installed the zip line that Q got last Christmas (doh) in the backyard yesterday and Q was standing on a small stool that he uses ALL THE TIME outside to step up on the playset, into trees, etc. when he just fell off and hit the ground the wrong way (he was trying to reach the handle of the zip line using the stool) . I saw the whole thing through the kitchen window, and when he ran up to the house screaming I figured that he just had a scary tumble.

Well, when Beegee and I had a look at his arm, we could tell immediately that it was a break. I threw him in the car and rushed him to the ER at St. Mary's. We got there at 6:30 and he had a rough go of things until we got in the back and he was given an IV with some painkillers and a bedside TV.

The orthopedist came in about 9:30 to set the bone and put his cast on. He probably will have it for a month. What stinks is that it's his right arm, which is his drawing / throwing / computer game hand. Kids are resilient, though, and he's already bouncing back nicely. He stayed home with me today and has to stay home Friday, but he'll be back at school Monday.

Got to say, the little guy came out like a champ. Very brave kid, and I tell you what, watching your kid scream in pain as he's given novacane to numb his arm and having it set is....rough.

Below are the x-rays (kinda gross, yet kinda cool)

Quinn reading to London

A little slice of life at the Moores.

Note Isaiah interrupting with a screech and the baby fussing after the story. So it goes...

Gameday, Dawg

Me and the kids in our UGA finest. I'm still holding out hope that London is an SEC CHampionship baby just like the boys were.

(And London is MUCH cuter than that picture shows - you'll see later)

Birthday Pictures

Here are some pics from Isaiah's party. A good time was had by all. Izzy got some books, clothes, a couple of balls, a Shrek doll, a DVD and only one loud, obnoxious toy (a fire engine - thanks, Dad). His Mom and I gave him a great tricycle that a parent can steer from the back.

"Happy Birthday to You....."

Isaiah and his cake! Too bad that Matt Stafford jersey didn't bring the Dawgs any luck!

London Update

First photos in a while for her. She's looking more like a proper baby and less like a little wrinkled alien

Only one week 'till the Dawgs take the field against the Cowboys. Are ya'll ready? Izzy is.

(And I swear, he dressed himself this way - no prompting from Dad)

Nothing quite like the sublime pleasure of cake batter in the summertime....

More London Pictures

Some are from the hospital, and some are from home. She's really, really doing well. Much easier infant than either of the boys. She wants to eat every three hours or so, but then goes right back to sleep (even at night!).
